Washington Park Cross-Training Class

Starting on May 5th, 2008, get fit outside with Define Fitness' outdoor training series. Join Noah at beautiful Washington Park for a cross training session that will help get you in to the best shape of your life and have your ready to walk the beach, walk the down the ailse, or feel great this summer. This class is for all fitness levels from beginner to advance, and each portion of the class can be modified to accomodate each individual's fitness level.

The May, Washington Park Cross-Training Class meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at 9 am in the south west corner of Washington Park (corner of S. Downing St. & E. Louisiana Ave). The class runs from 9:00 am thru 10 am. The cost is $20 per person/per class, or you can purchase the full month of classes for $180/person (if you come to each class -- total of twelve classes -- that is $15 per class).

Some activities include trail and hill running, bounding, squating and lunging and pushups, just to name a few. It is required that you bring a bottle of water and a towel. We also highly recommend bringing sunscreen (spf 15 or greater due to the length of sun exposure) and an electrolyte replacement drink like Gatorade.

Proceed With Caution: Your fitness level will most likely improve with each class and you will possibly feel different in every good way at the end of this 4-week class. For example, you may experence the following side effects: more energy; a higher resistance to fatigue; a stronger, more fit body; higher self-confidence; improved cardiovascular endurance; improved muscular endurance; and decreased body fat.
